In the winter, it’s peaceful and you’re at one with nature, enjoying the sound of the sea. There’s almost nothing that’s more beautiful and peaceful. The beaches of Walcheren (including the beach at Vrouwenpolder) have been awarded a blue flag for many years now, meaning that they are the prettiest and safest beaches in the Netherlands! The beach at Vrouwenpolder does not have any breakwaters; it is wide and safe, child-friendly and accessible for wheelchairs.
Get out and about by bike and discover the splendid coast. Stop for an ice cream in one of the picturesque villages in the area. The bicycle is also the ideal mode of transport for a trip to Middelburg, for example. The bikes that we rent out are luxury models and they are checked and maintained daily.
